Protect private information
Do not post full names, home addresses, phone numbers, personal email addresses, school names, exact locations, daily schedules, financial details, private messages, identifying workplace details, usernames, or other information that could identify or locate you or another person. Public anonymity does not remove content from platform records, and details inside a story can still reveal who someone is.
If you are under 18
HNDSYT is for people aged 15 and over. If someone pressures you to share personal details, keep secrets, send intimate content, or continue a conversation somewhere private, stop engaging and tell a parent, guardian, teacher, or another trusted adult. Report the account or content to HNDSYT. If you feel in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Keep lessons constructive
Focus on what you experienced and learned. Avoid naming or attacking private individuals. Harassment, threats, doxxing, grooming, coercion, sexual exploitation, scams, self-harm encouragement, and instructions that could cause harm are not allowed.
