I never used the careers service and graduated with no plan
I spent three years at university and never once walked into the careers office. Graduated with a decent degree and genuinely did not know what to do the following Monday.
Educationfailed my exams, retook them at 30, aced them
Flunked my exams at 18, spent twelve years telling everyone I was just not a school person. Retook them at 30 mostly to prove a point and passed without much trouble.
Educationi tutored struggling kids and it taught me my subject twice over
Signed up to tutor younger kids thinking it would look good and maybe help someone. Ended up understanding maths properly for the first time, years after I'd already passed the exam.
