Age requirement

HNDSYT is intended for people aged 15 and over. By creating an account or using HNDSYT, you confirm that you are at least 15 years old. If you are under 18, please involve a parent, guardian, or another trusted adult if you are unsure whether it is safe or appropriate to use the platform or share a story.

Using hndsyt

hndsyt is a place to share and learn from real-life experiences. When using the platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your account secure and not share it with others
• Follow all applicable laws
• Treat other users with respect

You must not post content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, hateful, defamatory, fraudulent, sexually exploitative, infringes someone else's privacy or intellectual property, or is intended to spam, manipulate, or harm others. Harassment, doxxing, grooming, coercion, exploitation, sharing another person's private information, and attempts to move a young person into unsafe or secret contact are not allowed.

Your content

Your story is yours.

By publishing it on hndsyt, you keep ownership of your content. You grant hndsyt a non-exclusive licence to host, display, moderate, distribute, and create optional derivative formats - such as summaries, translations, audio, or social media images where permitted by your settings - solely for operating, improving, and promoting the service.

You may remove your story at any time, subject to reasonable retention for legal, security, backup, and moderation purposes.

Please only share content that you have the right to publish.

Some content on hndsyt may be editorial content created by hndsyt using a combination of human insight, research, and modern content-creation tools to explore common human experiences. Such content is not presented as the personal experience of a specific individual unless explicitly stated, and is shown with an “HNDSYT Original” byline rather than a community pseudonym.

Illustrative reactions. HNDSYT may curate or add illustrative reactions to stories to help make content more relatable or encourage reflection. Such reactions will not be presented as reactions submitted by users.

Use of stories and contributions

By submitting a story or other content to HNDSYT, you grant HNDSYT permission to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and share that content for purposes including operating and promoting HNDSYT, research, analysis, education, and improving our services.

We may share or republish stories, excerpts, insights, or anonymised/aggregated versions of submitted content with third parties. We will not intentionally share your personal identifying information alongside your story for these purposes, unless you have separately agreed to it or we are legally required to do so.

Community and moderation

Content on HNDSYT may include user-submitted stories, HNDSYT Originals, and other editorial or illustrative material. We may identify these different types of content where appropriate.

We may review, curate, supplement, remove, limit the visibility of, or refuse content that violates these Terms or where reasonably necessary for the safety, quality, or integrity of the service. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously breach these rules.

Recommendations and third parties

From time to time, hndsyt may feature recommended products, services, books, courses, or other resources. Sponsored or promotional content will be clearly identified where required.

Any decision to use a third-party product or service is your responsibility. hndsyt is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party websites or services.

No professional advice

Stories shared on hndsyt reflect personal experiences and opinions. They should not be considered medical, legal, financial, mental health, or other professional advice. Always seek qualified professional guidance when making important decisions.

Foresight is a lightweight self-reflection, not a psychological assessment, diagnosis, prediction, or professional recommendation. Its results are produced by fixed option classifications and administrator-written percentage bands, not by AI. Do not rely on a Foresight result as the sole basis for an important decision.

Availability

We're always improving hndsyt, which means features may change, be updated, or occasionally be unavailable. While we aim to provide a reliable service, we can't guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will always be error-free.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of hndsyt after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
