RelationshipsI let a good friendship fade because I was too proud to apologize
We had a small argument and I decided it was their job to reach out first. Five years passed. By the time I swallowed my pride, we had both moved on and it was never the same.
Lesson learned
Being right is worth far less than the relationship. If you value someone, reach out first, even when it stings.
